I've been here a few times with a friend who's local and everything I've had has been fantastic. I've gotten a variety of drinks, both coffee and non-coffee, as well as an assortment of pastries and breakfast sandwiches and they were all really fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich.
Great egg sandwich! Café Beatrice is in an upscale area of the city near running and biking areas. This is a great spot for a morning breakfast to start your day. The egg sandwich was tasty and they had an assortment of pastries as well. Overall, a cozy breakfast spot.
Still one of my favorite local cafes in Cambridge. Been coming here since they first opened, and while their sandwiches are all solid, the breakfast egg and sausage sandwich is what keeps me coming back. Legit sausage patties, perfectly fried eggs—and when I’m all in, I go double patties, double egg, add cheese. Definitely not cheap, but totally worth the splurge if you’re starving. It’s one of those sandwiches that carries you through the entire day. Their pastries are solid too. The veggie danish is easily one of the best I’ve had in the city—more like a croissant, flaky savory, and not overly heavy. I’ve also got a soft spot for their cinnamon roll. They supply pastries to local cafes like Cicada, and I always grab a couple of their sea salt chocolate chip cookies when I need a sugar boost.
I had gotten the cinnamon roll and it was soooo good! The frosting was top tier and the roll itself was amazing! It was so good I had to lick my plate clean 😆 If you want to dine here, I would recommend experiencing this atmosphere and these lovely workers…AND the cinnamon roll!

Really nice bagels! I tried their kalamata olive and caramelized onion cream cheese. I prefer olive over the onion. Bagels felt fresh. They have a few other great breakfast options (a few vegetarian options too). Their hot chocolate and latte are just average. Nothing much to say. I'd still go for their bagels and other breakfast options.
I’m at home right now dreaming of the breakfast sandwich at Beatrice so I thought I’d write a review. Well, I dream about the breakfast sandwiches… I guess that’s the review. Oh, and it’s right on the bike path so a fun stop on your ride.
Holy crap the sausage egg and cheese is huge and delicious! Egg was larger than the bagel, TWO sausage patties, bagel was the right consistency, and cheese overflowed. YUM!!!
Their cinnamon rolls are amazing! My birthday is coming up, and I had the intention to only get the tiramisu latte. But then, with Roxy, I got inspired, and she asked if I had tried their roll. I mean! "Nope. I hadn't yet!" Best pre-birthday dessert 🍪🎂 ... Run! And then there's the cozy decoration, couches, but also high chairs. Work or not. It's all about casual meetings, catching up with oneself or else.
